I played a bunch of PRS's when I was picking one several years ago, and nothing really sang and hand punch like the singlecut standard with #7's. What a sucker punch!

My favorites are the Howard Leese pickups, Dragon 1s, or DGTs, depending on what time it is.

PRS is one of the few brands that have stock pups I really like. I played a SE 245 last weekend and really liked the pups in it. The CE24 I used to have had stock pups that sounded great too, so I think I like most of them.

DGT's for me. I have a pair of #7's that I will probably swap out for something else, they just aren't doing it for me.

    Definitely the 57/08's.

I just had a set installed in my McKorina.

I ended up realizing that I hated those pups and replaced them with a set of Mark Tremonti pups. :ugh:

sadly, none. the closest that I like were whatever my 20th ann. McCarty had - dragons, maybe? those were pretty sweet.

McCarty pickups! Very full tone, and not too hot.

I have Dragon IIs, and 57/08s in both my PRS' now. I liked the ME/RPs that had been in my 20th Ann Artist prior to the 5708s. Just picked up a set of VB/HFS from '96 to put back in my '93 CE24 vs the DIIs. I also still have the VB/HFS set with gold poles originally in my 20th Ann Artist.

+1 on the original T&Bs. I never tire of my '87 even after all these years.
